Cooking and distributing food for orphans during Ramadan

Ta Marbouta - Al Raqqa
The Taa Marbouta Foundation, in the city of Raqqa, participated in helping the Paradise Relief Kitchen team in cooking and distributing food for orphans.
Coordination was made with the director of Al-Firdaws Kitchen (Yasser Khabour Al-Shamti) to participate in the voluntary kitchen work, where the girls of T-Bound were involved in cooking food and serving it to those who deserve it. Whoever feeds an orphan is like one who feeds an entire city.
*Al-Firdaws Relief Kitchen*
Al-Firdaws Relief Kitchen was established in 2010/2011, about 12 years ago, and it is considered one of the oldest ongoing charitable works in the city of Raqqa.
In the beginning, the kitchen used to provide raw foodstuffs without cooking them, and in 2018, cooked and ready-made meals began to be served to orphans, due to the high prices of basic cooking materials such as oil and others, in addition to the lack of fuel for cooking.
The kitchen serves rice or bulgur on a daily basis, potato broth, beans, molokhia, etc., and meat, if available. The kitchen serves meals two days a week (Monday and Thursday) throughout the year, except for the month of Ramadan, where food is served in Ramadan on a daily basis.
The kitchen carries out a permanent monthly campaign, where the kitchen provides 100 food baskets that are delivered to homes, a campaign (they do not ask people to quit) in addition to the needy who come to the kitchen on a daily basis and other campaigns.
- Al-Firdaws Kitchen depends on the material and in-kind assistance of charitable people in providing food to orphans.
