Learning from home for people with special needs

Enjoy learning at home for the first time in their lives.
Abdul Latif and Omar, 12,10 years old, two brothers with special needs since their birth. After their father dies during the conflict, they reside in their home in Harem with their brother and mother, without receiving treatment or education.
After they enroll in the UNICEF-supported project, their lives transformed, as their mother Raghda describes:
"Before the project, they knew nothing about the school and had no friends. Now their communication skills have improved. They are now more positive and look forward to their teacher coming every day."
Their teacher Muhammad tells us about his first encounter with them:
I saw in their eyes surprise and deep sadness. Abdul Latif welcomed me and asked me to become his friend because he doesn't have a boyfriend. Now we enjoy learning together, we dance and sing songs to learn the letters.”
Mother Raghda expresses her feelings by saying: "These classes are the best thing that ever happens to them."
