A documentary film on the phenomenon of child labor in north and east Syria
On the occasion of the International Day Against Child Labor, which falls on the twelfth of this month, Helm Organization for Development held a dialogue session attended by a number of civil society activists, in order to elicit the reasons behind the spread of the phenomenon of child labor in northern and eastern Syria.
The session included a presentation of a documentary film on child labor in difficult and dangerous professions, as child labor has become one of the phenomena that have spread greatly recently, especially with the declining economic conditions, and it may be known as: Children are deprived of their childhood, and this work may hinder their access to the most basic rights such as the right to education, and it may adversely affect the child in terms of mental, physical and social aspects, and may threaten his health and physical and mental integrity.
