The educational centers of the Bunyan organization in Khan al-Subul, northwest of Syria
“It makes me happy when I see my students enjoying learning after being deprived of education in their schools for years.”
Bushra, 37, is a first-grade teacher in Khan al-Sabil camp. Her journey with her family was difficult, but at the end she was able to teach in one of Jabal al-Zawiya camps in Idlib countryside. Bushra recalls:
“I was happy with the opening of the educational centers near my village. The children there had dropped out of school for more than two years. As a result, some parents even started thinking about displacement again to secure education opportunities for their children. But, thank God this project was a good solution to this problem. ."
"The trainings and activities organized by the project contributed to improving the educational and psychological conditions of the children and teachers. I hope that these types of projects will continue in order to reflect the effects of the harsh conditions left by the war on the children"
