A course towards better motherhood

A course towards better maternity is being held at Sams Hospital in Baldana, which is organized on two days of each week for 5 weeks, after the great success of previous courses and the observation of an increase in the attendance of women.
Midwife Rawda Shaaban, in charge of the family planning clinic in the hospital, says: “The course aims to correct women’s perspective and educate them before pregnancy and during pregnancy, on topics related to natural childbirth, the woman’s care for herself and her newborn, perinatal depression, women’s rights, and the importance of family planning methods. and its types.
About the importance of the course, Rawda adds: “The mother should know the correct information on these topics and in the right ways, not the methods common among women, through midwives with great experience in the field.”
After attending the course, Mrs. Mary says: "From the common information about newborn jaundice, that it is treated with garlic, a ring or white light, we have become fully aware of the need to follow up the child in the hospital and stay away from rumors and wrong ways."
This is the fourth course in the hospital, and it targets the beneficiaries of the hospital services, who are pregnant women or those who are planning to become pregnant.
