22 families got to know their loved ones through interviews with family representatives

22 families identified the photos of their loved ones, among the Caesar photographs; The Prison Without Bars report was based on a questionnaire and interviews with representatives from each of the families. The families were represented by 8 women and 14 men.
The questionnaire for the report was formulated based on successive meetings of members of the Caesar Families League and the Syrian Media Center with the support of Watch Impunity. ). The report presents violations of arbitrary detention and enforced disappearance related to torture that leads to death, or that ends in extrajudicial or summary execution, or that its victims remain missing, in terms of its impact on the families of the victims, by working with a number of families that belong to the association of families Caesar, and those who got acquainted with their children through the photos that Caesar leaked in 2014, to present a picture of the complex, continuous and extended violation that affects the vast majority of Syrian society.
In conclusion, he concluded with a set of recommendations directed to the Syrian government and its institutions, which are recommendations in their general form directed to any government in Syria now or in the future and to government agencies to deal with the file of missing persons, and to the United Nations and its various bodies, the international community and relevant international organizations, and finally to Syrian civil society within the framework of the efforts made in the file of the missing persons and their families
