Legal procedures for registering the birth of Syrian refugee children in Lebanon:
1- Obtaining a Lebanese birth certificate for the child from the licensed doctor or midwife who performed the delivery
2- Obtaining a birth certificate issued and signed by one of the mayors of the region where the child was born
3- Registration of the birth document in the Nofus Registry at the level of the judiciary, field No. 15 on the birth document
4- Registering the birth document with the Foreigners’ Registry at the governorate level, field No. 16 on the birth document
