Accommodation of teachers within student housing in areas controlled by the regime

The regime resorted to sheltering teachers in the students’ dormitories to attract them due to the cost of wages that exceed their salaries and the transportation crisis to reach their destinations
The Director of Damascus Education in the government of the regime, Suleiman Younes, said according to Radio Melody yesterday, that a number of the school halls of the Tishreen 6 School in Barzeh area have been allocated to accommodate single female teachers from outside the appointed area in Damascus.
Four halls were secured to house five female teachers within one hall because they were unable to bear the costs of house and transportation wages in exchange for low material income, in addition to the crisis of transport queues that the city has been experiencing recently due to the scarcity of fuel allocations for transportation modes of 30 liters, according to the source.
It is worth noting that the educational process in the regime-controlled areas has witnessed a significant deterioration in all its stages, whether in terms of curricula and the provision of their requirements, or the continuation of traditional methods of education, in addition to the high rates of school dropouts due to insecurity, displacement, asylum and poverty, in addition to the spread of chaos in schools and universities
