Dialogue session on social media book

Women Survivors Organization held the tenth forum of the Coffee and Paper project to discuss the book “Social Media, A Journey into the Depths” by Dr. Majid Hassan Shamsi Pasha
about the book
“The use of these means such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and others has spread and overwhelmed the minds of people, young and old, and turned the world into a small village.
To find that people are divided in terms of social media into two parts:
- Some believe that it expanded awareness, increased awareness, and moved people in a few years to a world that could not be reached by traditional means of communication.
- Another group sees it as one of the causes of the current moral and social disorder, and its harm has exceeded its benefits by many stages.
And it is a double-edged sword. Some people use it for what is beneficial for him... so he communicates with it by kindness, or teaches ignorantly... he publishes advice or sermons... or spreads useful information... his messages and tweets are hardly devoid of benefit or influence, but unfortunately some people severely misused..
There is no doubt that social networking sites have a great attraction, and there is good and bad in them. Let us treat them with caution. Professor "Carrie Cooper" Professor of Psychology at Lancaster University says, "We are currently servants of technology. We must take charge and become the masters."
