On the occasion of International Children's Day, SAMS organized educational and recreational activities for children, at the SAMS Psychological Support Centers in Gaziantep and Kilis.
Our teams also organized awareness sessions for families of children, which included awareness activities
On the rights of the child, discussing the challenges and fears that children face in refugee conditions, and how to deal with their interruption in education, in addition to addressing the issue of quarantine and its impact on the children’s educational path.
The sessions also included discussions about the difficulty of dealing with language and integrating into the host societies, in addition to the mechanisms of education used at home and their impact on the life and future of the child.
"Children are the mainstay of society and its pillar, and our children suffer from major problems as a result of a war in which they have no-fault. We have to stand with them and support them to overcome them, and with our care and care for them, we create a better life and future for our society," said Yasmin, the psychological counselor at the Gaziantep Center.
