SEMA completes the renovation of the operating department and adds an emergency operating room in the Idlib Specialized Surgical Hospital
The Medical Association of Syrian Expatriates, especially the new operations department, opened in the Specialized Surgical Hospital in Idlib, after the completion of repair and maintenance work, in addition to the establishment of an emergency operating room for emergency cases.
Dr. Ahmed Samer Al-Esh, CEO of the Syrian Expatriate Medical Association, said during the opening event, "We loved to share with all of our brothers in the north of Syria and northwest Syria our opening of the operations department at the Idlib Specialized Surgical Hospital. The international operation rooms will be a pride for all health workers in northwestern Syria, and the operations department consists of (6) rooms established according to the latest health regulations in force, which will be a tool to alleviate the suffering of our brothers in the liberated north of Syria.
Dr. Salem Abdan, Director of Idlib Health, said during his opening participation, "We thank the brothers in SEMA for the effort made to open this department, which consists of (6) operating rooms equipped with the latest equipment according to the best international standards, which will increase the quality of services provided in this central hospital in Idlib. ".
Since its launch in 2011, SEMA has performed nearly 250,000 surgeries, over a decade of the Syrian war, while the Idlib Specialized Surgical Hospital has made quantum leaps in the field of specialized and delicate surgeries recently. The local community, especially during the Corona pandemic.
