Rising up the cause of detainees and forcibly disappeared is the responsibility of all of us

A group of victims’ associations and human rights organizations interested in the fate of detainees met last week, under the title “Advancing the issue of detainees and the forcibly disappeared is our responsibility all”, where the members of the event discussed the issue of detainees and the forcibly disappeared in Syria, and ways of working on the issue of detainees and the disappeared and revealing their fate.
For her part, Maryam Al-Hallaq, President of the Caesar Families Association, spoke at the event organized by the Syrian Network for Human Rights about a truth and justice charter, in addition to presenting the history of the Caesar Families Association, how it was established, and its goals.
The president of the association also continued in her talk about the association's activities and its role in reaching the truth about the detainees, especially the martyrs whose pictures appeared in Caesar's photographs.
Maryam Al-Hallaq also added in her talk about the role of links in activating the Charter of Truth and Justice, in her talk about her personal experience as the mother of one of the detainees, and about the role of societal solidarity in advancing the issue of detainees and the forcibly disappeared in transforming goals and reaching the truth.
