MEAL Officer
Job Description :
• Designing data collection tools for planned monitoring and evaluation activities.
• Designing activities plans and schedules that need to be published in the different project sites.
• Analyze various qualitative and quantitative data collection and reporting activities.
• Submitting monitoring and evaluation reports to other relevant departments and senior management, in addition to sending reports to donors.
• Support in conducting assessments and surveys and lead data collection teams by following planned methodologies and action plans.
• Establishing a strong complaints and feedback mechanism that will be disseminated in all project sites while maintaining the principles of confidentiality and accountability.
• Conduct field monitoring visits to project sites on a weekly basis and send reports.
• Supervising teams of field assistants.
• Overseeing data collection activities and ensuring that data collection teams are organized and resourced as needed, and that they are provided in accordance with field mission plans and in accordance with data quality standards.
• Provide regular and timely reports on progress and challenges to supervisors and other team members.
• Training staff on the concepts, skills and tools of monitoring and evaluation.
• Work closely with the implementation team to enhance its ability to collect appropriate data and prepare reports.
