Lebanon: together against the Torture
A joint statement by a group of civil society organizations working in the fields of human rights on the United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture stresses the need to adhere to the recommendations it made years ago, which are in accordance with international law and the Convention against Torture ratified by Lebanon in 2000, which were addressed to: Parliament, the Lebanese government, the judiciary, the security services, the two bar associations in Lebanon, and civil society associations.
