Lebanese authorities must stop detaining and deporting Syrian refugees
On August 24 and 27, 2021, the Lebanese authorities arrested six Syrian refugees who were on their way to receive their passports from their country’s embassy in Beirut, in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Defense Council issued on April 15, 2019 to deport Syrians who entered Lebanon illegally to the country after Date 24 April 2019.
