Today we, civil society organizations, stand up and call out with the loudest voice denouncing and opposing the violence committed against women and the right of childhood, and we say enough ignorance, enough injustice, enough power. At the age of roses, where was the honor when you killed her childhood and her right to education and life as a human being, and you, by your heinous act, created the idea of escape for her?
You are the ones who committed disgrace, not her. And you had to kill yourselves. That is more honorable to you. Is there not among you who thinks, who thinks and who is guided? You are the imprint of shame that has been ingrained in the minds of society and we call for justice at the loudest voice to take its course against the killers, everyone who watched and kept silent, and everyone who boasted and published. We expect the most severe penalties. Their right, as we call on all security institutions and bodies not to stand silent towards this heinous crime
We call on all civil society organizations to stand together in a strict stand against the violence that is taking place against women and to stay behind every aggressor until the last breath to be punished for his act and be an example to everyone who begs himself to commit such an act and think a thousand times before he commits an attack.
This is not only a statement to be recited today, but it is a pause for all feminist organizations and movements. We will make of them a women’s imprint to combat all forms of violence against women.
