Summary report on the 49th session of the Human Rights Council

The work of the 49th session of the Human Rights Council started at the end of last February and continued until the first of April. The session witnessed an easing of restrictions and measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic, which allowed the personal participation and physical presence of delegations of countries and non-governmental organizations, for all official sessions, or negotiating meetings. As for the side activities organized on the sidelines of the session, they were all virtual.
