Paris – Today, the Syrian Network for Human Rights issued a report on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Syrian regime’s chemical weapons attack on Khan Sheikhoun in April 2017, and the fourth on the city of Douma in April 2018, under the title “The chemical attacks of Khan Sheikhoun and Douma carried out by the Syrian regime remain unaccounted for five years ago.” years,” in which she said that Russia is practicing the same tactics in Ukraine that it did in Syria with regard to the chemical weapons file.

The report - which came in 9 pages - said that five/four years have passed since these attacks and we are still witnessing a further consolidation of the policy of impunity. The report mentioned the number of victims of the attacks, as the Syrian Network for Human Rights team documented the killing of 91 civilians, including 32 children and 23 women ( (adult female) suffocated, and about 520 people were injured when the Syrian regime used chemical weapons against the city of Khan Sheikhoun. While the killing of 39 civilians, including 10 children and 15 women (adult female), was documented, and nearly 550 people were injured when chemical weapons were used against the city of Douma in Damascus Suburbs Governorate on 7 April 2018.
