Recommendations for developing the financing environment in opposition areas
By following the movement of early recovery activities in the opposition areas in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib governorate, it can be seen that the projects implemented in the sectors of transportation, transportation, water, internal displacement and trade have declined. Against the limited implementation in other strategic sectors, perhaps the most important of which is the finance sector, and because of the importance of this sector and its functional roles in forming local support frameworks, the following recommendations paper will attempt to alert the actors about the problematic of the financing sector in the region and the need to work on diversifying financing channels and directing them towards developing the financing environment and implementing small and medium projects in the region.
