new special operating room at Idlib Central Hospital to help provide Covid-19 patients
Northwest Syria is still suffering from a surge of Covid-19 cases, and in response to this, we’ve launched a new special operating room at Idlib Central Hospital to help provide Covid-19 patients with the surgeries they need to help save lives.
One of the patient recently treated was a pregnant lady who was in critical condition due to complications from Covid-19. Upon her admission to the hospital, medical staff such as Dr. Abdel Aziz Hamza, realized she was in labor, and was able to successfully treat the mother and deliver the child.
The patient and mother have thankfully been discharged to one of the isolation hospitals in the area to receive further treatment.
