Hazano mobile clinic (supported by the Syrian-American wrestler Sami Zain) continues its work in the camp areas in northwestern Syria, where many skin diseases are currently spreading as a result of high temperatures, lack of clean water sources and poor sanitation, especially inside tents that lack the basic necessities of life and care. with children.
The child Juma al-Khatib suffers from varicella (chickenpox), and his mother says: “Friday, several days ago, he had a high temperature, a headache, then a rash appeared on his body, and he started to itch. I was eagerly waiting for the clinic to come to the doctor, because the medical points are far away. about us".
Dr. Khaled Al-Omar, doctor of the mobile clinic, says: “With the intensification of the heat in the summer, skin infections and rash diseases spread. The most cases received in the clinic are skin cases due to the population density in the camps, and most of them are cases of scabies, lice and eczema due to the spread of contaminated water, and chickenpox, which is currently prevalent among It spreads rapidly and may have serious complications in children.”
Our doctor examined the child Jumaa and prescribed the necessary medications to him, along with recommendations for his family to follow up on his condition.
