Masrat buys part of the wheat production for support in Idlib countryside
Within the project to support stability and livelihoods for villages affected by the conflict in the countryside of Idlib, the Humanitarian Care and Development Corporation - Masrat purchases part of the production of the targeted wheat farmers at a subsidized price, with the aim of supporting wheat marketing and encouraging farmers to plant this important crop in the next season.
Where the Masarat field team purchases 360 tons of wheat, according to its purity and quality, 240 tons will be milled and baked, and free bread will be distributed to the displaced in the project area for a period of four months, in addition to sifting and sterilizing 120 tons that will be distributed as seed for cultivation in the next season.
