On its third day, human rights defenders complete a workshop on human rights
In the context of the human rights workshops implemented by the Eridu Center for Civil Society and Democracy in Qamishli, the participants in the "Defenders... of Human Rights" project, today, Wednesday, completed their sessions to discuss the issue of torture.
The topics of the session included the definition of the term torture and its types, the evolution of its forms throughout history, in addition to the purposes, goals and objectives of the practice of torture, and its results and effects on the individual and society.
Fifteen civil activists will participate in the "Human Rights Defenders... Human Rights Defenders" workshop, over a period of four days.
