The health care center in Al-Dana, northwest of Idlib, is a vital point of contact between community members and primary health care providers. Its services cover the city of Al-Dana and its countryside and include an integrated list of necessary and basic health services for the family through clinics, the interior, women, children, and teeth, in addition to the leishmaniasis clinic, which provides free examinations, medicines and analyzes .
The number of beneficiaries of the primary health care center in the city of Dana reached 3,330 beneficiaries last April.
The center provided 3,592 free prescriptions as well, and the number of beneficiaries who attended the leishmaniasis clinic included 279 patients.
The center also supports vaccination campaigns for communicable diseases.
This center is of particular importance due to its vital location in the densely populated city of Dana, in addition to covering the needs of a large number of camps in the vicinity of Dana. In addition to being a health care center, it is the only source of care for thousands of displaced families in northwest Syria.
