Eridu Center launched its new project, Human Rights Defenders
Yesterday, Monday, Eridu Center launched its new project "Human Rights Defenders", with the participation of fifteen young civil activists, at its headquarters in Qamishli.
The opening session included a human rights workshop, which was supervised by trainer Liana Saliba, and included the following topics:
international human rights law
core human rights treaties
Origins of human rights law
Universal Declaration of Human Rights
international human rights body
This workshop will continue for four days, provided that similar workshops will be held in each of the cities of Al-Hasakah - Derek / Al-Malikiyah in the coming period.
