Participation of Hope Humanitarian in preparation for food basket distributions
More than 14 students from Hope Humanitarian come to Lebanon for the first time, to volunteer with us, and support our team during the preparation phase for the distributions that will happen soon in the Bar Elias and Omariya areas in the Bekaa.
During the past two days, we have prepared food and hygiene baskets for 500 needy families.
These distributions came at a time when Lebanon was experiencing the worst economic crisis in the modern era. More than 80% of the population of Lebanon is below the poverty line, and they face great difficulties in securing their food and basic needs, in light of high inflation, which has reached 1500%.
