Mr. Hussein (the 64-year-old), displaced from the countryside of Saraqib, felt chest pain he had never felt before, when he went to the evening prayer one day, at that time he fell on the ground, and he only felt it while he was in Ma’arrat Misrin Hospital in the Intensive Care Department.
Intensive care doctor Ahmed Al-Hassan says: “Patient Hussein arrived at the emergency department suffering from compressive chest pain behind the left breast accompanied by cold sweats and nausea, and it was confirmed that he had a myocardial infarction by conducting an electrocardiogram and laboratory investigations, so he was transferred directly to the hospital. Intensive care department and applying the necessary medical procedures.
About his feelings at that moment, Dr. Ahmed adds: “It was a moment of intense fear for Hussein’s life, especially with his advanced age and his exposure to severe circulatory collapse, ventricular fibrillation, and blockage of the atrioventricular node, but all complications were dealt with and the patient was brought to a stable state.”
Hussein says about his feeling after recovery: "My feeling is indescribable after the pain I was exposed to, and I feel relieved that I will be able to return to my normal life after completing the treatment."
