An event at a camp to celebrate World No Tobacco Day
On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, the Peace and Civil Society Center PCSC held an event in Serêkaniyê camp, which is located east of Al-Hasakah city.
The event began with a lecture by Dr. Alan Khalil on smoking, its harms, negative effects on humans, and ways to quit.
The event also continued with a theatrical performance by the Salam team on the negative effects of smoking on the family, and in the end a dance was presented by the children of the Peace Center.
The goal of dedicating a World No Tobacco Day was to protect generations from the devastating effects of smoking on their physical health as well as
of the social, environmental and economic calamities of tobacco use.
