New volunteers within the SAMS medical mission in Lebanon
Dr. Joseph Karajikian is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a volunteer at SAMS Medical Mission in Lebanon.
In between consultations on the first day of the medical mission, we were able to have a quick chat with Dr. Karajikian. We asked him about his motivation to volunteer in the Bekaa Valley and help Syrian refugees and other vulnerable communities. He said, "Nothing is more valuable in life than helping another human being, it is an honor and a privilege to be a part of Sams and to be given the opportunity to make even a small impact."
"A helping hand is better than a prayer of the lips," he continued, quoting Mother Teresa.
We are delighted Dr. Karajician has joined SAMS' medical mission and look forward to sharing more updates with you on the accomplishments of the medical mission.
