Areeha Hospital continues to rescue mothers and their newborns in the most dangerous areas of southern Idlib
Jericho Specialized Hospital for Women and Children continues to provide its free medical services to the people of the city of Jericho and the areas of the southern countryside of Idlib in general. The hospital provides services to more than 4,500 beneficiaries, between a woman and a child, per month.
Jericho Hospital is an integrated medical services environment for women and children, with its various departments, which include two departments (women and children) with two morning and evening clinics for both departments, in addition to the ambulance, hospital, labor and accommodation ward, in addition to a special section for incubators equipped with the latest types of incubators and submarines.
And last April, Jericho Specialized Hospital for Women and Children recorded 291 new births, 258 natural births and 33 caesarean sections, where 582 mothers and their newborns received the best possible medical care in a dangerous area that lacks health services and carries a high risk.
During the past month, 4,499 beneficiaries, including a woman and a child, benefited from the hospital’s services, and the staff there performed 71 major and minor surgeries, and provided 1,164 free prescriptions and more than 3,000 laboratory tests.
It provides its beneficiaries with pre-booking services for medical examinations, in addition to medical services 24 hours a day, according to the system of morning and evening clinic shifts.
“Thank you” is not enough to show gratitude to our supporters and medical teams who have been able to continue treating the families even today.
