Receiving children's ambulance cases in a hospital, hand in hand at Atma

Surgery for newborns, premature babies, and infants at a young age is considered a very sensitive procedure, and it is difficult to perform it in any hospital because of the need for special surgical expertise, distinguished anesthetic expertise and special equipment.
Dr. Ahmed Jawhar, a pediatric surgeon at the Hand in Hand Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Atmeh, says: “When children’s operations are postponed to become older, complications occur with them, especially hernia operations, so these children are transferred to our hospital from several hospitals in northwestern Syria to provide medical service. them according to the internationally defined scientific bases.
The Pediatric Surgery Department at Hand in Hand Hospital for Relief and Development for Children and Women receives these cases from children, in addition to children aged up to 13 years, and the department performs more than a hundred surgeries per month.
Abu Mustafa, the father of one of the sick children says: "Praise be to God, despite the war, there is a hospital and specialized staff for children, especially these sensitive operations. This increases my confidence that my child will be in serious health after the operation, God willing."
