Many Syrian women had no choice but to become the sole breadwinners for their families, while at the same time remaining the main caretakers of the family.
In addition, there are many women and girls in Syria who did not complete their studies or did not have the opportunity to study, which made them more vulnerable to gender-based violence. This problem is widespread and complex and is caused by many factors, including the destruction of schools by the warring parties and the resort to camps that do not have an educational center, in addition to violence against women. Therefore, women are empowered to find independence through training courses on empowerment and awareness of violence in all its forms and how to reduce it
