Two awareness sessions at the Psychological Support Center entitled Your Health in Ramadan

The medical advisory department in the Turkey office organized two awareness sessions at the Psychological Support Center and the Physical Therapy Center in Gaziantep, under the title "Your Health in Ramadan".
The two sessions focused on correcting misconceptions related to the fasting person's activities during Ramadan, his dietary pattern, promoting correct practices and providing a sound alternative.
Dr. Reham, health awareness officer at SAMS office in Turkey, says: “We have implemented two awareness sessions within our centers in the city of Gaziantep, aiming to deliver health messages to beneficiaries in the expatriate, during which focus was placed on health awareness about the importance of healthy nutrition in Ramadan associated with some chronic diseases and diet. The occasion for them, and about benefiting from the month of Ramadan to implement a healthy lifestyle system, and how to conserve your energy during fasting, in addition to discussing with the beneficiaries about the process of educating their children about fasting.”
She added: "At the end of the two sessions, small activities were carried out, where the beneficiaries were asked to write learned tips and put them on a board for the benefit of visitors to the two centers during the holy month."
Mrs. Khadija, one of the beneficiaries of the activity at the physiotherapy center, says: "I enjoyed the session a lot, during which I learned about the role of fasting in building a healthy body and the importance of fasting in fighting diseases, as well as the role of healthy food during breakfast and its impact on the body of the fasting person."
