The sixth anniversary of the targeting of Al-Quds Hospital in the city of Aleppo

Today marks the sixth anniversary of the targeting of "Al-Quds Hospital" in the city of Aleppo, where we lost many of our colleagues from the medical staff, as well as civilians.
On this painful occasion, the staff of SAMS' Dana Hospital and a number of medical facilities in northwestern Syria, with coverage from some media, organized a protest stand under the title (Stop the bombing of hospitals) against targeting medical and humanitarian facilities and personnel.
This memory is paralleled by the current Russian war on Ukraine, where some medical facilities were bombed, in scenes similar to what happened in Syria. The medical staff affirmed the rights of the Syrians and their solidarity with the Ukrainian medical staff.
The participants in the stand, including hospital staff and some auditors, raised banners with expressions of condemnation in Arabic and Ukrainian.
After the vigil ended, Dr. Osama Salloum, director of the Aleppo office, said: "Because of the global failure of the bombing of medical facilities in Syria over the past years, the scene has now been repeated in Ukraine, and because of this failure, we have previously lost many medical personnel, by targeting hospitals And health centers, which were providing their humanitarian services to our people, who are in dire need of these services, such as the brutal targeting of Al-Quds Hospital in the city of Aleppo.”
