Mobile medical clinic for home health care
Starting from our collective responsibility to ensure that everyone has access to health care services, including the most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups and those deprived of access to services, the Independent Doctors Organization has started operating a mobile clinic dedicated to patients who have difficulty accessing health centers, especially those with special needs and the elderly, where These two categories are the main target groups for the services provided by this mobile clinic.
This mobile health clinic was operated in response to the multiple assessments conducted by the organization in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, which showed a lack of access to health care services, especially in villages and towns that do not have health facilities, especially for people with special needs and the elderly.
The clinic provides various health and nutritional care services, where the medical team refers critical cases to higher levels of care.
Although the main target groups of the services of this clinic are people with special needs and the elderly, the clinic is equipped with a medical team equipped with pharmaceutical supplies that cover a wide range of basic health services, including children and women.
The importance of this type of clinic lies in its ability to reach patients with special needs and the elderly in remote places where these health services are not available, and therefore its residents have to go to the nearest places where these services are available, which are sometimes tens of kilometers away. Service centers is not an easy thing.
