An activity for the community health team entitled “Health Messages in Ramadan”

The community health team at Batbo Primary Health Care Center organized an activity entitled "Healthy Messages in Ramadan".
The activity, which targeted the male and female beneficiaries of the center, focused on correcting misconceptions related to the nutrition pattern in the holy month of Ramadan and promoting correct concepts.
Miss Doaa Muhammad Nassif, a community health worker, says about the importance of the activity: “We aim to deliver healthy messages to the beneficiaries that focus on raising awareness of the importance of adhering to healthy eating patterns during the month of Ramadan, such as diet for people with chronic diseases and pregnant and lactating women, and reminding us of the need to reduce consumption of spices, stimulants, soft drinks and causes of high pressure, As well as adopting light foods, especially in the Suhoor meal, and emphasizing the importance of this meal and not neglecting it, especially for children.
Mrs. Yusra, one of the beneficiaries of the activity, says: “We have been provided with new, unfamiliar information, such as the importance of fasting in stimulating blood circulation, and that it protects against clots, activates memory and the brain, and enhances the killing of cancer cells, as well as the benefits of fasting for pregnant and lactating women, in addition to the signs of hypoglycemia, high blood pressure and the necessary diet. So."
