Martyr Wassim Husseinou Hospital saves the life of a fifty-year-old who survived a traffic accident

The team of Martyr Wassim Husseino Hospital managed to save the life of a 50-year-old man (A / A), after he had a tragic traffic accident. An immediate case showed a fracture in the right hip joint, or what is medically known as "intertrochanteric fracture".
After requesting analyzes and anesthetic consultations, a decision was made to perform a surgical intervention with a DHS (Dynamic Hip Screw) in order to maintain the perfusion of the femur and maintain blood flow in this area.
The patient was prepared and underwent the surgery under complete anesthesia and arch endoscopy and is now in good health and is in the hospital ward in preparation for his discharge.
The hospital’s suffering from the interruption of support and the lack of operational resources did not prevent the medical staff from continuing their humanitarian mission and saving the sick and injured in northern Syria, where the vast majority cannot afford treatment expenses in private hospitals.
