The health team supported by SAMS organized a health awareness activity

The community health team at Hazano Center, supported by SAMS, organized a special health awareness activity on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, where health information and advice were provided to a number of beneficiaries during their stay at the center.
Zakia Haj Taha, a community health worker, says: "We set up the activity for women in the town at the beginning of Ramadan, to talk about wrong practices, and we touched on the nutrition of pregnant and lactating women and those with chronic diseases, and we provided some medical advice and consultations so that the holy month of Ramadan is healthy and safe."
Ms. Walaa, who attended the activity at the center, said: "We listened to valuable information about the benefits of fasting and its impact on physical and psychological health, and got some advice to avoid complications for the elderly and children."
According to the center’s community health worker, Ms. Aya Al-Mar’i, during the activity, it was emphasized the need to follow up with chronic diseases and to see their doctors to adjust the doses of medicines and regulate the times of taking them during Ramadan, and the need to increase fluids throughout the period from Iftar to Suhoor.
