SAMS holds the first forum on chronic diseases and fasting

On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, and with the aim of updating medical information related to fasting and its impact on patients with chronic diseases, the Syrian American Medical Association (SAMS) is pleased to invite medical personnel (general practitioners and internal medicine doctors in particular) to attend the first session of the Ramadan symposium “Chronic Diseases and Fasting”, which It includes the following topics:
1- Diabetes in Ramadan: Diet and medication modification, presented by Dr. Obada Al-Zuhaili, Board of Endocrinology and Diabetes, Michigan, USA
2- Chronic Lung Diseases in Ramadan, presented by Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Shaqqi, Board of Internal Medicine, Wayne State University, USA
The session will be moderated by Dr. Abd al-Rahman al-Omar, a specialist in pediatrics and senior health advisor at SAMS in Turkey
On Saturday, April 9, at 5:00 pm, Istanbul / Damascus time.
The seminar will be interactive via Zoom/Webinar, with the opportunity for participants to interact and ask questions.
