14 Routine tours of Hazano's mobile clinic

IDPs in tents suffer from health problems and difficulty accessing medical centers in villages. Here, the mobile clinic of Hazano Health Center conducts periodic tours of 14 camps, during which free medical care and medicines are provided to patients.
The medical clinic staff consists of a general physician, a midwife and a nurse, with a free pharmacy. Medical services are provided to the displaced, especially those with chronic diseases, and follow-up on seasonal diseases (such as winter diseases) that people in tents are more susceptible to.
Faryal Tanari, a midwife at SAMS Mobile Clinic, says: “We work to provide medical services for women, reproductive health services, follow-up of pregnant and lactating women, and advise on good nutrition and the importance of breastfeeding, in addition to following up on female infections, some of which are due to the lack of clean water.”
The midwife provides services to an average of 40 women each day through regular visits to the targeted camps
