Inauguration of the Cardiac Catheterization Department at Al-Shifa Hospital in Afrin
SAMS inaugurated in Al-Shifa Hospital in Afrin, the Cardiac Catheterization Department, which provides its services with high efficiency and free of charge to those in need.
The department contains a catheterization room in which diagnostic and therapeutic coronary catheterization (mesh transplantation and coronary dilation of the coronary arteries) is performed. The department is also attached to a cardiac care unit, which contains 6 fully equipped beds. The department is supervised by a staff consisting of 3 cardiologists, in addition to 3 cardiac catheterization technicians, 3 care technicians and a service staff.
Al-Shifa Hospital is the only hospital in northern Syria that provides this service completely free of charge.
SAMS always seeks to provide all medical specialties within its facilities and projects in northern Syria, to alleviate the suffering of the people under the current circumstances.
