SIMA continues the 16 days of activism against violence against women

The Gender-Based Violence Protection Team in Idlib carried out an interactive activity with the participation of 12 adolescents in Mulham School for Orphans. At the beginning of the event, the protection specialists learned the importance of the campaign, followed by the implementation of several activities, including the puppetry activity, which performed a performance on the theme of gender-based violence, followed by an interactive discussion on the theme of the play, and then the implementation of the “Against Violence” activity, competition activities and recreational activities. In addition to the activities of singing, chants, poetry recitation, Rubik's challenge, and gymnastics movements. Finally, gifts were presented to the participating youth in an atmosphere of fun and enthusiasm. This event aims to raise awareness of adolescents on issues of gender-based violence and promote gender equality and non-discrimination. In a similar activity, the protection team carried out the World Vision project in the Atma camps, a marathon for men and adolescents in the village playground. In addition to several activities, including "No to violence against women and girls", the circle activity, the ball activity, and the anti-violence graphics activity, and the activity was concluded with a ball game between men and adolescents.
