The 16-day campaign is a global campaign against survivors of gender-based violence that begins on 11-25 and ends on 10-12, the International Human Rights Day. It continues for 16 days of activities aimed at raising awareness of gender-based violence and advocating for survivors. . Violence against women is one of the most widespread, persistent, and destructive human rights violations in our world today, and many of these violations are still kept secret due to the phenomena surrounding impunity, silence, and stigma. Part of the activities provided by the safe spaces and community health teams in northwest Syria, as part of the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women. The activities included educational activities, individual and group sessions, distribution of awareness leaflets, and recreational activities for children. On the International Day for the Elimination of Gender-Based Violence, we commend the efforts made to eliminate all forms of abuse and violence against women and girls.
