#shawishka_association has distributed breast cancer awareness brochures in some districts in Qamishlo like Jarnik,Suiz canal,Al Tai, and Hilko neighborhood. As a part of it's annual campaign (#Because_you_are_the_sweetness_of_life) The brochures included the importance of raising awareness of this dangerous disease introduction to breast cancer and it's symptoms and foods that fight breast cancer in addition to the steps of self-detection . And the early detection of breast cancer center located in the western district of Qamishlo was also highlighted with the mammogram and echo doppler devices available and offered free of charge throughout the year. Finally it highlighted the psychological factor of the patient and the need of men to support and care about their wives
