(SECD) completed the construction works of 104 firefighting points in 76 camps
In an effort to reduce the impact of fires and floods that camps in northwestern Syria are exposed, Syrian Engineers for Construction and Development (SECD) completed the construction works of 104 firefighting points in 76 camps in Jebel Saman, Jisr Ash-Shughur, and Maarat Misrin areas.
Established points are equipped with safety fire and flood prevention equipment.
Providing camp IDPs with blankets to put out fires.
76 emergency intervention teams were formed that included male and female volunteers from the IDPs of the camps.
The EIT team underwent professional training supplied with plumbing equipment and electrical repair tools qualifies them to deal with fires and breakdowns in the electricity and sewage networks
The number of beneficiaries of the project reached is 99852
