With the development of the Syrian revolution, Sham's network developed with it and grew with its growth. It started with a voluntary team, the number of which did not exceed the fingers of a hand, and began to expand in its media work until it reached an integrated and licensed media institution, including a number of social media and news outlets. And it works on the Sham Center for Research and Studies and Sham Radio, in addition to launching a number of projects such as the Sham project for the security of Syrian activists, and technical projects related to providing Syrian activists at home with the means of non-contact that enables them to communicate with the Syrians through non-violence. The suffocating siege, and the brutality with which all activists, including the media in particular, are dealt with.

The network aims, through its various institutions, to create an alternative media that derives its values from the values of the revolution, and from the cultural consciousness and the human heritage of the Syrian people, and at rebuilding awareness of the Syrian person’s personality, in his fields, which seeks to promote the foundations of various realities.

Network returns are invested in two aspects:

The first: developing the network's business and its institutions, developing its cadres, and raising their level through training.

The second: implementing social and charitable projects for the benefit of the Syrian society through institutions established for this purpose (hospitals - kindergartens - charitable societies - voluntary initiatives - poor housing projects - orphan care).
