Al-Rasheed Society was established in 2006 and was known by Resolution 515 of that year.

The founding members chose the name Al-Rasheed for their association out of a desire to adhere to the optimal approach to effective social development philanthropy.

Within the circumstances that our beloved country is going through, the association is currently working on achieving its goals in addition to humanitarian, relief, charitable and developmental work for the poor and needy, caring for and rehabilitating them so that they turn from deserving of assistance to those who are sufficient and helpers to others.
The association launched its development programs and care and rehabilitation programs within integrated projects. The association is currently working on the following programs and projects:
1- Feeding the food program (and breakfast for the fasting person in the month of Ramadan): To alleviate the suffering of needy and affected families, who are unable to afford the expenses of cooking healthy food, the program provides a cooked and ready lunch (and breakfast in the month of Ramadan) for each family, which is sufficient for five people. 2- Academic qualification program: to support needy and outstanding students to continue their studies and achieve their excellence. Click here for more information about this program

3- Orphans Sponsorship Program: to provide financial care and educational and teaching care to the orphan, through a monthly financial grant to each orphan in his family, with the provision of what this orphan needs for a decent livelihood. Click here for more information about this program

4- Vocational and Developmental Qualification Program: To provide specialized professional courses for the needy while giving them enough to start small development projects that will transform them from recipients of subsidy to those who are satisfied with themselves, their family and their community.
