The Syrian Society for Scientific Research is an independent, non-profit organization that aims to support Syrian and Arab researchers around the world by forming collective work teams that transform research ideas into prototypes and service products that serve the society's vision and goals. Its financial resources are based on pledges of members and donations from donors in addition to the proceeds of volunteer work and projects that it undertakes.

The association started in mid-2013 as a virtual gathering of Syrian researchers on social networks and then was officially licensed as a non-profit and tax-exempt organization in San Jose, California, in the United States of America at the beginning of 2018.

Our vision:

The association is a pioneering scientific platform for remote teamwork where Syrian and Arab professionals work together on projects to find and develop solutions to deal with real-world problems using scientific research tools and entrepreneurship skills based on creativity and innovation. The platform is a means of networking and exchanging experiences, professional training and career development, and connecting team members from different geographies and multiple disciplines to create a collaborative and creative environment.
