WASH Team Leader
Responsibilities:
Carry out WASH technical assessment in coordination with other CARE sectors (Health, protection) and/or other external sector agencies, ensuring assessment findings are documented and that all assessments include a specific analysis of children, men, and women’s needs.
Develop the technical designs including the bills of quantities, and make sure that the design and BOQ meet the quality standard of the CARE and WASH cluster.
Preparation and sharing of technical feasibility and assessment reports with the WASH Programme officer.
Follow up CARE mechanism/tools to ensure the quality control of WASH-related materials, organize the site visit for general supervision of contractors, ensure the safety of construction sites and staff, track/monitor the work progress, and liaise with administration and logistics to ensure their payments are done on time.
Carry out hygiene promotion activity through using a participatory approach ‘’Participatory Hygiene and Sanitation Transformation (PHAST)’’
Monitoring contractor’s work if any, and providing technical inputs,
Ensure that the various aspects of the WASH Project are integrated with Gender, Protection, and Health.
To ensure quality and impact of WASH interventions, and follow-up of daily water, sanitation, and hygiene activities in the field.
