Nutrition Facilitator
Functional tasks:
Providing nutritional services, including:
• It targets women with children under the age of five and pregnant and lactating women.
• Detecting cases of malnutrition in children under 5 years and pregnant and lactating women.
• Acceptance of children or pregnant and lactating women to the malnutrition program according to the condition of each one of them after taking a measurement.
• Prescribing and distributing therapeutic supplements a prophylactic micronutrients or vitamins to children and pregnant and lactating women following the advice of the attending physician.
• Promote breastfeeding through individual and group sessions.
• To be the leader in group sessions and direct the team with him as needed, in addition to conducting complex individual sessions with the beneficiaries.
• Leading IYCF campaigns in the population centers, providing advice, distributing brochures and vitamins, and referring patients to health centers or nutrition centers.
• Information about available health and nutrition services is exchanged
• Information about breastfeeding is provided
• Information about malnutrition and acute malnutrition is provided
• Information is provided about the nutritional needs of children and pregnant and lactating women
